About Me
It is a pleasure to have your child in my class family. I am originally from Georgia and graduated from Clemson University in South Carolina. My undergraduate degree is in early childhood and my Master’s Degree is in Special Education with an emphasis on reading. It is hard to believe that this is my 15th year teaching!!
My husband, Hughes, recently brought our family to College Station. We have lived here for a year and the transition has been great due to all of the very welcoming people in the community. My son, Will, is a second grader at Greens Prairie and he loves baseball, nerf guns, and his Clemson Tigers.
My passion has always been teaching. I love these children and they make me smile each day. I know first hand that parental involvement is essential to maximize the benefits of the school experience. I urge you to become involved by following your child’s daily activities, joining our PTO, attending school meetings and conferences, volunteering in the classroom, and by talking with your child about his or her school experiences. By working together, I know we will have a great and successful year!
